A RIB - Rigid Inflatable Boat - provides pure power boat excitement on the water. The combination of lightweight, loads of horsepower and great handling make for an experience on the water you will never forget. Just like a water-borne sports car, a RIB power boat is nimble, fast and exhilarating. The RIB power boat experience isn't just about sitting back and enjoying the ride; it's about taking the controls and learning for yourself how much fun can be had from these remarkable craft.

The RIB you will drive is a high performance Ballistic 7.2 metre power boat, equipped with a 150hp Yamaha HPDI engine that will power you to speeds in excess of 45 knots - that's around 51mph. As well as out and out pace, it's also built to be highly maneuverable, taking waves in its stride and accomplishing tight turns, including S turns, J turns & figure of 8's. This power boat experience will demonstrate just what the RIB is capable of and give you the chance to take the controls yourself.

Your power boating experience begins at Poole Quay where you will be greeted by the boat's skipper who will conduct the safety briefing before boarding. The skipper will cover all aspects of safety and show you over the RIB power boat. Once you have familiarised yourself with the layout and the controls, you will be kited out with your life jacket ready for departure.

Leaving the Marina through Europe's largest natural harbour to Poole Bay, each member of the party (no more than four) will be given the chance to drive the power boat at low speed. At the same time, there's the chance to enjoy the wonderful scenery around the harbour.

After reaching the harbour entrance it's into Poole Bay where there is no speed limit and the power boat can be put through its paces. With the skipper at the controls, it's time for an adrenaline rush as the RIB is taken through high speed runs, tight turns and wave jumps. Then it's your turn! - Before returning back through the harbour to Poole Quay where refreshments will be available.
